Let's keep this going and hopefully someday Fanatec will also provide their recommended settings for their wheelbases for these games! In 1.42 (after the big FFB overhaul in ETS2/ATS) I use these settings with my CSL DD with boost kit and R330 wheel: CSL DD in CSW 2.5 comp. mode. SEN 1800.
The best truck? Depends on what you want from a truck. I prefer the New Actros and Volvo (and meanwhile the DAF Euro 6) because of roadholding and stability, but other people have other preferences. My recommendation is you do a lot of quick jobs with different trucks to see what suits you best.
Makes steering a lot easier on A roads and motorways, but in town it can be hard, but i like a more realistic challenge. Im using a Xbox 360 controller to pl
Obviously this is a CPU/GPU intensive operation, lowering the ETS2 scaling can give you considerably more FPS. In ETS2 400% equals a 2x vertical, 2x horizontal original rendering. I think that's correct, that's what one of the developers said anyway. That's 4 times the number of pixels, hence the 400% designation.
r_buffer_page_size won't help with freezes. If it's too low, you'll see vehicles missing parts (doors etc) WoT Profile. ATS Workshop. "never attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by stupidity".
Hello all, Is there a setup guide anywhere for TrackIR specifically to work with ETS2. My TrackIR device is the older version 3, which works OK and allows head tracking in ETS2, However, the setup with ETS2 has the views switching to all sorts of views when I turn my head and occasionally the system seems to drop out and flips the view to a sort of out the windows reverse view and the only way
Here are maybe some solutions for your problem: Disabling Season Effects and Winter Mod could help, to gain some FPS. Disabling Cabin Accessories and Flags may also help for low end PCs ( or like in your case, laptops ). Using the 2 outside flags on your vehicle can also drop you up to 30 frames .
AMD Ryzen 5 5600. The Ryzen 5600’s clearly far exceed those recommended by the developers, so with this CPU, you’ll have no problems playing Euro Truck Simulator 2, even at the highest settings with an uncapped framerate. Overall, the Ryzen 5 5600 is a solid mid-range gaming processor, which will provide you with admirable performance in ETS2.
Ryzen 5 2600x, AMD RX 580 8Gb, 16 Gb Sys Ram and a Samsung 870 Evo SSD. Win 10. I've tried stopping some back ground apps but nothing so far seems to work. Never seen this happen on ETS2. V sync is on ingame and in AMD Software and GPU is running at a low Temp 50 - 60 C. I've read what Nesox has linked with the averaging_window_length "20" and
